Mount St. Mary’s University – Summer Programs for College Credits
Located in historic Emmitsburg, Maryland, Mount St. Mary’s University is a Catholic educational institution offering more than 70 majors, minors, concentrations and special programs. This includes their popular Summer Programs which allow high school students, college students, and working professionals to explore diverse subjects and improve skills during convenient summer sessions.
Earn College Credits While in High School
High school students can enroll in Summer Programs for an affordable, flexible way to experience college curriculum. This is an excellent tool for preparing yourself for college early, earning credits towards your degree and gaining access to fields of study not offered at the high school level.
Advanced Access to College Curriculum: Challenge yourself with advanced coursework in subjects you care about.
Promote College Readiness: For students who may not be confident in their future college plans, summer programs offer a way to ease into higher learning.
Jumpstart Your College Degree: Summer courses can earn you credit towards your college degree and help you get a head start on your post-college career.
Apply for Free: No application fee is required for summer programs when you apply as a “non-degree seeking student.”
Areas of Study
High school students can choose from a wide range of classes which will earn you between 3 and 4 college credits per class. Summer Programs run from June through early August and are broken up into 4 sessions between 5 and 10 weeks each.
