Early College at the University of Rochester

University of Rochester is making the transition from high school to college easier and more rewarding with their Taste of College program which allows students to earn college credit early. This unique program has welcomed students from around the world for more than twenty-five years, providing exceptional educational opportunities.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the program continues to help students thrive and earn college credit with online courses.

Who Should Join the Program?

Taste of College is open to all 11th and 12th graders worldwide. Students looking for a more challenging and diverse curriculum can choose from a range of college courses not typically offered in high schools, such as Abnormal Psychology, Screenwriting, Philosophy and more.

This is also a way for students to test out what college-level courses are like before entering college. College bound students can get a Taste of College with less pressure and expense while also gaining experience to make their upcoming college career a success.
